UNiTY esports is facing another major challenge on the domestic scene. From October 8 to 11, the Agrokomplex Nitra complex will host the Slovenská sporiteľňa MSR 2026, the 11th annual Slovak Esports Championship. And of course, we’ll be there.
FOUR TEAMS, ONE TITLE
This year’s CS2 tournament will feature four teams competing in a single-elimination bracket, with all playoff matches played in a BO3 format. In addition to UNiTY esports, the tournament will also feature Dynamo Eclot Phoenix, Vitality Academy, and LPH Gaming, who earned their spots through the open qualifiers.
For UNiTY, this also marks an invitation to one of the most significant domestic CS2 events, where we’ll compete for the overall title of Slovak champion.
WE KICK OFF AGAINST VITALITY ACADEMY
Our first match is scheduled for October 9 at 4:00 p.m., when we’ll face Vitality Academy in the opening semifinal.
It will be a best-of-three (BO3) series, with the winner advancing to the grand final. The second semifinal will pit Dynamo Eclot Phoenix against LPH Gaming.
€10,000 IS UP FOR GRABS
The tournament’s total prize pool is €10,000. The winner will take home €6,000, the runner-up will receive €2,500, third place will earn €1,000, and fourth place will be awarded €500.
The tournament will also be held without VRS status, and to participate, each team must have at least two players with Slovak or Czech status in its active roster.
SEE YOU IN NITRA! ??
MSR 2026 won’t be just about Counter-Strike. The organizers have also prepared a supporting program, gaming attractions, and the chance to meet well-known figures from the world of esports. The entire event will take place from October 8 to 11 at the Agrokomplex in Nitra.
But for us, the most important moment will be on October 9 at 4:00 p.m.
