Another LAN adventure lies ahead! UNiTY esports is heading to Portugal, where the international Counter-Strike 2 tournament FOX Legacy #1 will take place from October 1 to 4, 2026.
The tournament will be held at the SAW Esports Arena in Vila Nova de Gaia, near Porto. Up to 16 teams from around the world will compete in person, and the entire tournament will take place offline in front of fans.
FOUR DAYS OF CS2 ON LAN
With a full field of 16 teams, FOX Legacy #1 will feature a four-day schedule. On Thursday, October 1, the group stage will take place, played in a round-robin format with all matches as BO1.
This will be followed by the play-ins and playoffs. With 16 teams participating, the top four seeded VRS teams will advance directly to the playoffs, while the remaining spots will be contested through the group stage and BO3 play-ins. The playoffs will then be held in a double-elimination format, with all matches being BO3.
The highlight of the entire tournament will come on Sunday, October 4, when the BO3 grand final is scheduled to take place on the main stage in front of a live audience.
UP TO €12,000 IS UP FOR GRAB
With a full field of 16 teams, FOX Legacy #1 will offer a total prize pool of €12,000.
The winner will take home €6,000, the runner-up €3,000, third place €2,000, and fourth place €1,000. However, the prize pool amount depends on the final number of participants.
UNiTY BACK AT LAN
For UNiTY esports, this will be another opportunity to test their skills against international competition directly on the LAN stage. Following previous tournaments and experiences at offline events, our team is set to embark on another journey to face European competition—this time all the way to Portugal.
FOX Legacy #1 is also part of the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) system, though VRS points are not required for participation. Team seeding is based on the VRS ranking as of September 7, or other specified criteria.
